Still Lollicaking for Family and Friends...

Even though the Lollicake Bakeshop is no longer selling lollicakes to the public, I am still creating these little treats for friends and family.  There is no possible way that I am allowed in the state of California without a minimum of 100 lollicakes.  My mom - still going strong at 91 - likes to bring lollicakes out to her favorite gambling establishment (Barona) for the girls at the hotel and the guys who park her car...she also likes to have them around for the firemen or policemen who may visit her and my dad from time to time (or when my dad falls and can't get up!).

I made some lollicake babies for my sister-in-law's future grandbaby who is arriving any day now. Love the Peep babies that I saw on Pinterest...I did add the pacifiers! The coconut cake was also for my sister-in-law.  It is such a delicious cake.  I did save some to make lollicakes for an almond joy type lollicake. Dipped entirely in dark chocolate with a salted almond on top...I have them hidden in the refrigerator for my guilty pleasure.

I will try to keep posting with what is going on...I have minions coming up in June for the twins birthday.  And I just noticed that since I haven't posted since 2011...the twins were never included in any post. I now have along with my sweet Kailyn who now is 6, another two grandchildren through my stepson.  Camron and Breanna who are turning three in June. They have been so much fun to watch grow.

Choo - Chooing to a birthday party

Who could resist this little train coming to your birthday party!

Marie Antoinette visits the Spa

I have been majorly remiss at blogging here...just been busy, busy, busy! I thought I would post this picture of a couple of lollicakes I did because they turned out so darn cute! I think they need a montage of Marie Antoinette's day...it's the day of the ball - first Marie visits the spa...then she slips into her bustier - please note her heart tattoo...and then she dresses for the ball. I believe we heard her words, "Let them eat lollicakes..." as she descended the stairs into the ballroom!

Cupcake Saying Signs

A couple of years ago, I came up with some famous movie quotes that obviously were misquoted because they didn't have the word "cupcake" in them.  We decided to have some of them created on signs for The Bagel Bakery and Cupcake Shoppe.  The site Just Too Cute, Inc. that creates metal signs loved the idea so they got busy for us.  The signs say "If you bake it, he will come" "I'll get you, my pretty, and your little cupcake too" "Face it girls, I'm older and I have more cupcakes" "Cupcake is the new black" "You had me at cupcake" "Boys are stupid, throw cupcakes at them" "Team Edward? Team Jacob? Team Cupcake!" "Nobody puts cupcake in the corner" "Frankly, my dear - I just want a cupcake" and "Show me the cupcake." They also did cupcake dangles for your Christmas tree or just to hang up anywhere because they are adorable and you want one or two...or all of them!!!

Cupcake Ornaments

Last year, Bake It Pretty posted on her site directions to make these super cute cupcake ornaments.  We decided to make some for sale at The Bagel Bakery and Cupcake Shoppe - so after an evening of a few Pear Vodka martinis...ta-dah!!! Beautiful...

Old MacDonald's Farm Lollicakes

Caden is turning one and Mom and Dad wanted a farm theme...so with the help of Bakerella's new book Cake Pops and some of my own wild imagination and creativity - Caden is going to be e-i-e-i-o-ing his birthday bash!
